I see :)

Well This is cool and all but most Knights and Soldiers did not have long hair, at least not when they go to war or in a time of war. Long hair like that can get pulled in battle or in a fight; also it is hard to keep good hygiene in the field with long hair like that... Other then that, great armor! I have a few Sallets my self. I would like to get some German Gothic plate one day...

The helmet... is it a sallet? It's my favorite kind of helmet. Unfortunately everyone I know only has pig faces and bacinets.

Too bad I'm a woman... They only let me wear dresses. Ahah. But being at the tents helping them putting the armour on isn't that bad, I get to know how to dress a knight! But again, unfortunately, most of the fairs there in Portugal are 12th/13th century reenactments. We only get like two to four 14th century shows. Even as a woman, I'm dying to wear some 15th/16th century costumes!

Next year come to Portugal, to Santa Maria da Feira. In July/August we have a 12th century fair, and it is known to be one of the biggest around Europe. *and this is me, being a pain in the ass*

I want those gauntlets! The details on them are beautiful.
The chainmail seems to need a hell of patience to be made, right? (I don't know anything about how to make them, maybe they're easier than I think)

oh, another picture! Why didn't I see this earlier
More gauntlet details  are those really cutout-hearts?:)

But the leg armour is different than in the other picture, right? Each plate has a downward point on the other one, or maybe my eyes are playing a trick on me :B

And the hearts make me love these gauntlets even more

I've got one of your right leg armour too :), and your helmet and your right arm from elbow to shoulder - I've basically drawn you in bits and pieces :lmao:
The whole scan-print-glue on cardboard-idea isn't so farfetched after all!
I'll post them when I finish the drawing :D

I made the chainmail, the arms and legs, but the rest are not my work.. I purchase it before I was on my current level of armor producing.

but I shall start on a new full plate armour that will resemble this one but it will be made by me :)
