Nice ... But, excuse me, isn't it more of the 16th century than from the 15th? resembles more the usual outfit of italian troops around the times of the Frundsberg march to Rome and the battles of Giovanni de Medici... but i'm not sure, could be wrong, and by the way many times the change between different kind of armors-weapons was very very more blurred, not that "DING 1 january 1500! Trash all the chain mails and lets wear plate stuffs! HOORAY!" xD
try taking classes at a community college, a metal art program or something like that, that way you don't have to buy all your own tools at first and its away from the headaches at home that's what i did to get started.
