ah yes i checked and you are right, it's from the 15th century, i guess the arms and the late hour tricked me xD

anyway very nice work, again :D And don't worry about how a guy with that outfit could be killed, there were plenty of weapons - fight styles explicitly developed for!

...ehm... "progress":|

Nice :D ... But, excuse me, isn't it more of the 16th century than from the 15th? resembles more the usual outfit of italian troops around the times of the Frundsberg march to Rome and the battles of Giovanni de Medici... but i'm not sure, could be wrong, and by the way many times the change between different kind of armors-weapons was very very more blurred, not that "DING 1 january 1500! Trash all the chain mails and lets wear plate stuffs! HOORAY!" xD

wondering if the strap down the chest couldn't be replaced by two under each arm pit?

there should be 1 strap under each armpit as well as the middle one but i thought it was a wast of leather when i made it since the middle one is more then enough! :P

Beautyfull! Love the italian look!
I would just make those elbow wings a bit bigger. The rest looks great!

try taking classes at a community college, a metal art program or something like that, that way you don't have to buy all your own tools at first and its away from the headaches at home :) that's what i did to get started.

There's no place like that here. I might just go into cold forging.

alot of my work is done cold, so i definatly know you'll be able to do alot, just takes a bit of patience cause cold steel moves differently then hot steel.
